1. Who We Are

The Grumman Cheetah Checklist app is developed and maintained by NextWing Aviation LLC, an aviation maintenance and training entity based in McIntosh County, Georgia, USA.

This policy explains what information the app does and does not collect, and how it is used.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

The Grumman Cheetah Checklist app does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data
• Any data sent to NextWing Aviation LLC or any third-party server

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device only, using your device's built-in storage (localStorage). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

• Checklist completion state — which items you have checked off in each checklist
• Customised N-number — if you change the aircraft registration number in Settings
• Edited checklist items — any items you add, edit, or delete in the Settings screen

This data is used solely to remember your progress and preferences between app sessions. It can be cleared at any time using the "Reset All Checklists" function within the app, or by deleting the app from your device.

4. Third-Party Content

The app includes a button that opens the AV-30C Pilot's Guide published by uAvionix Corporation. Tapping this button opens the uAvionix website (uavionix.com) in your device's web browser. This app does not collect any data when you use this link. Please refer to uAvionix's own privacy policy for information about their website.

All other content in the app — checklists, amplified procedures, flight lessons, GNS 430 reference, and performance data — is original content created by NextWing Aviation LLC based on the AA-5A Cheetah Pilot's Operating Handbook.

5. No Internet Connection Required

The Grumman Cheetah Checklist app is designed to work fully offline. No internet connection is required to use any checklist, reference section, amplified procedures, flight lessons, or GNS 430 reference. The only feature that requires internet is the AV-30C Pilot's Guide link described in Section 4.

6. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for use by licensed pilots and student pilots. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
